So Ali and I were thinking about all the books we had read in a one year time-span. (Insert Jackson family joke here, "Jon you can read?"...) Haha yes that is still so funny =). So yeah, Ali and I made a deal that if she read the Work and the Glory series (my favorite series) that I would read the Harry Potter series (her favorite series). Anyways I thought I would post all of the books we have read in the past 12 months.

I usually don't like "sci-fi" books so I didn't think that I would like Harry Potter very much, but of course I ended up loving them. As far as the Twilight books, what can I say? They brought out the 12 year old girl inside of me =) I would recommend any of the books I read to almost anyone. I doubt that either of us will read that many books in the next 12 months but it should be interesting to see.

even better than the jokes about if you can read or not will be all the jokes about you reading those girly vampire books. You probably liked them huh! (I'm afraid I might like them too which is why I haven't read them yet)
I'm impressed you both have read so much! I had know idea jon read that much but I'm glad to see the good influence you are on eachother. I really would have bet quite a bit of money that you watched too much TV to have time to read this much. I would have obviously lost!
PS - you really should finish (and I assume you will) fire of the covenant. I loved that book.
Like I said, they brought out the 12 year old girl in me =) There was actually a few times where I wanted to skip ahead a page or two but I was to afraid that I would miss something important so I trudged through them, but I really did like the books.
do you still have a copy of twilight?? if you do i want to borrow it- i keep hearing about it and i've been wanting a new series of books to start reading since there will be no more harry potter or work and the glory.
So I just finished the 2nd book last night....love it!
I tagged Ali on my blog too :)
